How To Write Metrics

3. Use dramatic and emotional words. Not all words are comparable in their skill to “snatch” a reader or bring out emotion. “Floor,” “take,” and “love,” last will and testament purposes be weaker than “plunged,” “siezed,” and “worship.”

Mountains be against the vault of heaven

And in the mid-point of this beginning

Words nothing, as they should

Put to use these and other rules to help you, but think back on that all rules in metrical composition require to be demoralized at times.
